TEXT:
Have you ever thought about feelings? It’s tempting to think of feelings as something to experience rather than analyze. Yet, in our relentless pursuit of daily tasks, we often neglect our emotional landscape, focusing less on our genuine feelings and more on how we believe we should feel.

Emotions are neither commodities to be sold nor favors to be borrowed; they are intrinsic to our being and should guide our actions. While the intellect may often overshadow the emotional realm, embracing our heartfelt intuitions is vital. As an artist, I emphasize the importance of an intimate connection with oneself—honesty and loyalty to our true feelings are paramount.

Every interaction in our lives elicits a unique emotional response. These responses merit our awareness and contemplation. Understanding what we love and what we disdain allows us to shift our focus towards experiences that bring genuine joy. Whether it’s losing oneself in a book, witnessing a tender moment between loved ones, or simply knowing you’ve brightened someone’s day, these are the moments that define our emotional landscape.

In our society, we are often conditioned to prioritize the grand vision, chasing elusive dreams. While ambition is commendable, it is equally crucial to savor each moment and cherish the small pleasures that punctuate our lives. This philosophy is vividly encapsulated in this body of work.

"Feelings" is a series that presents fifteen deeply cherished emotions. This collection invites you to reflect on your own favorite feelings and the subtle joys that enrich your life. The artworks are crafted from familiar materials, chosen for their recognizable textures and prints, creating a shared sensory experience between me and the audience.

The convergence of specific emotions with particular materials enables a universal connection. Each piece in this series is a gateway to an imaginative realm, echoing my inner world—a place of psychedelic dreams, vibrant chromatic explosions, architectural whimsy, and profound symbols.

"Feelings" transcends mere visual representation; it is an invitation to an introspective exploration. The series captures the essence of pure, introspective sensations through colors, dreams, nostalgias, and the simple joys that complete our being. The artworks are reminiscent of a kaleidoscope, guiding us through a mesmerizing journey of emotional depth and vivid creativity.

As you engage with this collection, I encourage you to pay attention to what you see when you feel something intensely. What do you discover in the depths of your own soul when you close your eyes? Let this exhibition be a mirror to your inner self, reflecting the beautiful complexity of your emotional world.
