TEXT:
Installations hold a unique and vital place in my artistic journey and oeuvre. These solitary works are not just standalone creations but are often deeply integrated responses to specific calls or themes, or they act as complementary pieces enhancing the narrative of works in other mediums. The creative process behind each installation is rooted in the same foundational concepts and techniques that underpin my broader artistic practice, ensuring a cohesive and unified body of work.

Over the years, I have crafted and exhibited numerous installations, each with its own distinct character and purpose. Some installations are purely artistic explorations, designed to provoke thought and evoke emotion through their aesthetic and conceptual depth. Others serve a dual purpose, blending artistic expression with practical functionality. For instance, I have transformed everyday objects such as mailboxes, ancient musical instruments, and even trash cans into pieces of art that not only serve their original function but also invite viewers to engage with them on a deeper level.

My approach to installations often involves the use of ready-mades—ordinary objects that are repurposed and recontextualized within an artistic framework. This method allows me to elevate found materials, imbuing them with new meaning and significance. By integrating these elements, I challenge traditional notions of art and utility, blurring the lines between the mundane and the artistic.

In creating these works, I strive to maintain a consistent narrative thread that resonates with my broader oeuvre. Whether I am working with paintings, assemblages, or installations, my aim is to sustain a dialogue that reflects my artistic vision and thematic concerns. The use of found materials and ready-mades is not merely a stylistic choice but a deliberate effort to weave a coherent and compelling speech across different mediums. Each installation becomes a chapter in the ongoing story of my artistic exploration, inviting viewers to reconsider the familiar and discover new layers of meaning in everyday objects.

Through my installations, I seek to engage audiences in a conversation that transcends the conventional boundaries of art, encouraging them to see the world through a different lens. These works are an invitation to explore the intersection of art and life, where creativity and practicality coexist, and where the ordinary is transformed into the extraordinary and viceversa.
